Celebrate the rising stars of dance with Queensland Ballet Academy’s showcase event of the year. A sell-out in 2024, the annual Gala presents a program of elegant classical ballet and vibrant neo-classical and contemporary works performed by the accomplished young dancers of Queensland Ballet Academy. Enjoy new and celebrated works by renowned Australian choreographers, and a selection of dynamic pieces choreographed by the dancers themselves.  

Across a diverse program, audiences will witness the Upper School and Pre-Professional Program dancers’ artistry and technical expertise honed from their world-class training. This production culminates in a rousing Academy Défilé which presents the entire ensemble, including the Lower School, together on stage.  

As the official academy of Queensland Ballet, we produce professional artists in demand around Australia and internationally. Don’t miss this highlight event, presented in the Talbot Theatre, Thomas Dixon Centre – the home of Queensland Ballet.
