About

Experience the extraordinary with Collectivo: a vibrant collective that brings together top-tier soloists from around the world, including the finest talents from Australia and New Zealand as it redefines classical chamber music with unparalleled artistry and one-of-a-kind performances.

Inspired by the Queensland Ballet’s stunning Thomas Dixon Centre, Collectivo proudly presents their debut concert program “The Dance.” Featuring stunning works of rhythmic vitality, seductive emotion and Latin flair by Vivaldi, Wieniawski, Ravel, Piazzolla, Angelis and Iturralde, the program showcases the virtuoso talents of oboe soloist Tania Frazer, violinists Amalia Hall and Johnny Van Gend, violist Alexander McFarlane, cellist Rachel Siu, and accordion superstar Grayson Masefield.

Presented in partnership with BEMAC

‘Created by Artistic Director, Tania Frazer, the program included inspirational classic works alongside
exciting new pieces…. well-crafted and lovingly assembled with the high quality of musicianship. Frazer
played beautifully, her sustained long notes offering a sweet sonority with fine arpeggios…… a first-rate
performance as soloist.’
